I love those comments, because the Flyers trading Richards and Carter had a positive affect on the Flyers team now and in the future. Yes, Richards and Carter went on to win the cup but they were on a team that was absolutely stacked and were able to become a part of that team and not be the focal point of the team, as they were here in Philly.
I'd make those trades over and over again, as would most Flyers fans. |
