You can say that again, then rewind time and say it for a third time. I don't even like thinking about the mistakes this team has made at Draft's in the past. I love what Tallon has done in the last two, though. Huberdeau is just going to be insane. I just feel that we would gain nothing unless we add a 30 goal scorer this off season, we have all of the "mid-level" players we really need.

You need to have scoring depth though. By trying to acquire a top scorer, you are almost surely giving up some of your depth. Better to develop a pure scorer than overpay for one. You've already got what appears to be a future starting goaltender too. Stay the course (which is probably tough to hear every damn year). You're closer than you think, I reckon.

Thats rathet unfortunate. I was looking forward to drafting MacKinnon a our goalie got captured by the Universe and bob got traded along with Schenn, Couts, JVR for Nash since Nash is super-awesome. Had to sign Bad Luck Brian cheap.

I agree, but I think we are at the point where Tallon can dangle some prospects.. Bjugstad and maybe even Howden. Our depth is really second to none. But it gets to the point where we have Bergenheim on our second line at times.. not QUITE there but we aren't too far off.
