Reinhart!!!
- Mike C

Murray over Reinhart all day long.

We could pick up Reinhart in the 6th to 10th spot.

Murray is top 3 material.

If we get him... it's a great deal for the Isles!!!

You have to remember it goes both ways... Everyone knows that Toronto would love to be rid of the contract... Everyone also knows that the Isles need to add a few of those contracts.

Wang isn't going to give Snow the go ahead to do anything until he gets an arena deal. Isles are just going to sign old slow pieces of poop to fill the voids and drag this saga out until 2015.

This is why I will not set foot in the Coli again. If Wang is too stupid to understand he has better leverage with a good team it's not my problem.

yeah hard to believe he's a business man using these "tactics". Winning product on the ice gets more attention than a lackluster roster full of soon to be retired losers. On one side of the spectrum I can't wait for the season to start and see Tavares and company play but than ya think of guys like Pandolfo and Reasoner and I just want to punch someone.

that's a given but Murray is going top 2 for sure - Reinhart is a big nasty bastard. When I look at him, I envision a Chris Pronger type player

@darenmillard

Hearing #coyotes have put yandle back In play. He was available for the right price @ the deadline. Deal is close. #sndraft

This would be the perfect pick up for the Islanders. Signed for 4 years and nice salary cap hit. Hmmmm

Supposedly Phoenix is deep in D prospects so maybe switch DeHaan with another forward. That would be ideal since we could use all of the D depth possible.

Nelson and the the 4th overall Gives them a chance to draft a future first line center plus get a future second or third line center. We get the D man we desperately need.

so than when this team is ready and a legit contender Yandle is retiring.... Haven't we learned what happens when you trade away picks and prospects without giving them a chance. There's plenty of defensemen out there, pass on Yandle.

MightyDuck....now, this is a trade I would make.
I think we'd have to give up another piece, probably deHaan. I'd still make the trade. This is far from Iginla.

Yandle is not that old.

Just to add, one of my favorite non-Islanders in the league. I would love to have him on this team. Tavares-C...Yandle and Streit-As

pessimist hardly, more like realist.

Facts are simple - Wang is not going to allow Snow to make any significant moves and bring on salary. This team is on the verge of relocation and/or an ownership change. When a team is in this state they keep drafting and filling the voids with poop (Jurcina, Reasoner, Pandolfo, Eaton, etc..). Until Wang gets a deal or the team is sold, this team will be a bottom feeder.

Cougarlife.com looks tempting...

I share your fire and passion though - I would love to see this team succeed and these ass(frank)s in the office are screwing this up royally. With PA leaving, oh man that's a shot in the throat. I can't understand why they just didn't offer him 25 mill over 5 years. I've heard rumblings of a 4 year 15 mill and he told em to suck rope.

Honestly, I wouldn't offer him that much. 20 million over 5 years is the highest I'd go. Problem is, he's one of the "high-end" UFAs this year, so, he's gonna get overpaid.

I do like the Yandle idea big time though. Guy's only in his mid-20s, an assistant captain, an all-star and top pairing defenseman....I'd definitely take him, even at the cost of our 1st, Nelson and deHaan.

well the Isles are in a similar situation from years back - when the Blues took Pietrangelo the Isles traded down twice and eventually grabbed Bailey so I think they will do something similar this year. In saying that, if they trade down to lets say 9 or 10, make the deal.
