Price, PK, Max, Pleks...

And just because Garbo MIGHT have been the 2nd most attractive UFA this summer, I think that speaks to a weaker class of UFAs.

But I guess in your opinion that would make Grabs more attractive than either Suter or Parise.... so...

- JDJ

Pacioretty scored 32 goals on one of the worst offensive groups ever assembled in the NHL. Woopty doo. He'd be a 3rd line winger with limited PP time on a good team.

You'd take an average offensive defenseman with limited defensive skills ahead of Grabovski?

I guess that's why you're writting on hockeybuzz.

Ever heard of Mikhail Grabovski? I'd take him before any Habs player.

That's a fact.

So only putting him 2nd on the Leafs in goals last year.

I'd take a legitimate Top Pairing Defenseman before a 2nd line center, yes.

One is hard to find, the other, not so much...

Go troll elsewhere, you are not even amusing at it.

To be fair, I wouldn't say Subban is there just yet. Definitely has the potential though, thats for sure.

Hey, good reasoning that. Not like we can just reverse that kind of argument.

You would take a smallish soft 2nd line center who's never got more than 60 points in a season before PK Subban ?

Also, Subban imoproved is defensive side a lot those past 2 years (that's also why is offensive production diminished a bit I think, because the coach had him more focused on D). He's now probably our best D in his zone after Gorges.

Really? Give it up man.

Subban, Pacs, Price are all guys the Leafs would benefit from. That said, the list is short.

I'd say he's a top pairing D right now.

Just not a great one yet.

Please name me a Habs player that you would ahead of Grabo?

Basically, you're just a bad talent evaluator. Grabo would have been the 2nd most attractive UFA this summer.

- thomas81

Plek, Max Pac, Cole, Subban, Price, maybe Gorges

edit: forgot Markov, if hes knees fully recovered

Depends on the team. He is not a top pairing Dman on a team that can compete.

The Leafs and Habs are so weak at so many positions, guys are being forced to be more than they are or they're ready for.

He's a guy who plays 25 minutes. He has his hiccups, yes, but at this point a team can throw him out there for big minutes and he's not going to be "ruined" by it.

Extremely questionably better than Semin. He gets the advantage for being a center, that's it.

Grabovski would be Montreal's third-best centre, depending on how Eller plays this year. he'd probably have to move to the winfg in Montreal because he's so soft.
