I think tomorrow is going to be a bust in terms of trades, you'll probably see a few teams trade down or up and maybe Suter's rights dealt to Minny/Detroit, but I doubt we see a big name moved. Possibly Nash to Philly for JVR+, but I still think that Philly shouldn't pull the trigger on that deal and it might not get done until next week if it happens.

At this rate I'd have to agree with you. I'm hoping for Festival of Lights but will likely get a couple sparklers in the backyard. Either GMs have become unrealistic in their demands or have lost the stones to make moves.

His real value is in the playoffs when the whistles get put away. And he's the kind of guy that creates space for skilled players and allows them to put up the PTS which you can't really see on the score sheet. He's the only guy in the league that can be a top 4 d-man or top 6 forward, extremely valuable player and is worth every penny in the playoffs. We would probably rip him at times during the regular season though and MG would have some issues with his conditioning for sure.

I think this is exactly what's going on. The spotlight is so bright now if a bad (or even lateral) move is made the GM is torn apart.

Winnipeg could get much better value than that. I would love Buff come playoff time as well, but that trade is not happening.

Gillis would look pretty silly after signing a 12 year deal to walk out of it with a salary dump mostly.

He does neet to make a respectable trade.

I agree. Very addictive. Just hate what it represents. Loss of privacy, lack of accountability, reinforces the constant need for instant gratification.

If Hodgson isn't worth the #5, then Enroth definitely isn't, at least not on his own.

The other side of the story is Byf has 4 years at 5.2 and comes in out of shape .Maybe Chey is throwing him in as the salary dump.

I have had a 211 player 2012 Mock Draft up since November, and just finished off grading this year's draft.
