Nope. They would want back Schenn according to the guys on TSN.

Not saying it can't happen but when you look at the Ducks roster they need a center. Getzlaf is good but then it drops off.

Reinhart probably won't make it to #6, Dumba is a nice call but don't forget about Jacob Trouba (solid prospect who is also right handed)
- ob18

Trouba is an interesting prospect, I actually kind of like the idea going up and getting a d-man the organization really covets. With the current d-core there is a real opportunity for a young guy to potentially make the big club and learn as the 6th d-man throughout the season gradually gaining more responsibilities as the season goes on.

Honestly it's going to cost a lot to move from #20 to #6.

If Ryan could be had for Schenn straight up I make that deal any day of the week... And Im a big Schenn fan.

Well the way they make it sound on the TSN website. The Flyers would move JVR to get Nash or Ryan. Other teams calling would have to give up a defenseman in a deal to get JVR. I'm sure things can change but I expect the Flyers to be mixing it up during the draft. They just always are making moves during this time.
- stveshdy

I'm just not sure Anaheim wants to necessarily add significant salary coming back for Ryan, hence more of an interest in Schenn. On the Nash front, it is obvious Howson really has overvalued the market to acquire him. I think Howson is delusional if he feels the deals somehow get better the longer this situation goes on.

I would hesitate to do so. But I could see the Flyers doing it.

Who is that guy?
- Flyers2821

Dave is very reputable. BTW I have heard the same three players are 1-3 on Flyers draft list.

Personally, Reinhart #1, Dumba #2, Teräväinen #3. Have heard Flyers' list is the reverse, however.

Like the top 2, getting to see more of Reinhart at the memorial cup was awesome. Personally I agree with some he may not make it past the Islanders.

They may but he wouldn't be target at the #6 from what I've heard.

Ob, Garth Snow is such a river boat gambler, you just never know with him. He is such a wildcard at the top of every draft.

Very true, if Reinhart fell and the Flyers did have the #6 pick it would be awesome. I still remain in the sit at #20 boat.

Is Jordan Staal for the 8th overall and Ryan Murphy a fair trade?

Saw it in one of the blogs. Possibly 2 solid blueliners for the Pens......that'll be annoying down the road

I think #5 is in play and ultimately I see JVR being in Toronto then any place else in the end.

Thanks bill unfortunately I don't know anything about these prospects... I guess they will take time to develop, something the flyers don't have a lot of patience with. Wonder why they are going after these guys if none of them can step in this season.
