not that the forwards are a sure thing or are without concerns (galchenyuk injury, grigorenko intangibles/khl, etc.), but i would so much rather have a guy with elite forward skill than pick a dman who is ready now, but his ceiling is on the second pair.

If it were my call, I'd consider potential options to move up for Reinhart or forward Teuvo Teravainen. Wouldn't be my #1 priority to move up, however.

What I heard from someone I trust is this -- if he's a miss, he'll be similar to Steve Eminger. If club drafting him hits a home run, he'll be an All-Star with two-way elements to his game. Didn't see him falling into the middle ground, either.

This isn't a great draft for forwards with 1st-line potential -- the three Russians (actually a Tatar and two Russians) and Teuvo Teravainen are about it, with a bunch more projected to have top 6 upside.

I don't want to see the Flyers take Tom Wilson. The offensive upside is too much of a reach at this point -- I see him as another Colton Gillies or Brad May type, not a Milan Lucic.
