Again I think its a poor example.. Ryder was putting up very similar stats over the first 3-4 seasons of his career.

Anson Carter?

Okay, I give up.

So eastern Conference picks at 10 or above...

3. Montreal
4. Islanders
5. Toronto
8. Carolina
9. Winnepeg
10. Lightning

I could see the Lightning making a move with 2 firsts... Flyers first plus Bob to TB for Tampa first.

Tampa picks back to back at 19 and 20.

- RooNosHockey

Don't see that move with the addition of Anders Lindback

DLEED_ Put this out but not sure if Twitter messed w it: Don’t ask me why, but R. Nash and B. Ryan are both in play in Philadelphia. I can confirm.

How the heck do they plan on moving up?
- stveshdy

I was thinking the same thing myself. The teams from 5-10 dont seem to be good trading partners other than anahiem at no. 6.

does jvr, carle's rights, read, bob, 1st and schenn get you ryan, schultz' rights, and the no. 6 pick? I don't think so.

I dont think Tampa is done with Just Lindback. I could see them getting Bob and rotate them until one steals the job.

The Flyers should give JvR a full year and allow him to play healthy with Giroux. Lets see what the kid can do. I have this gut feeling they believe his hip wont hold up for an entire season without getting the surgery. I have no facts, evidence, CIA info to prove it just stating what I think.
- stveshdy

Do you think Harts G JVR is our top line? If so, any issues with JVR playing on the right as opposed to the left wing?

I really have no idea what the Flyers are up to. Everytime I turn around they have something new going.

Homer is just driving up Nash's price for the Blueshirts. Ryan would replace JVR since Ryan's been coveted here. However, I don't believe the Flyers are really looking at offense when team D was their Achilles' heel this past playoff run.

You mean there are rumors going around that they have something new going? I bet over 90% of the rumors out there are just that. Rumors.

I do agree with this. Every situaition is different, but so many times, the non-surgerical solution just doesnt work and it just a long grind. In my nonmedical view, he shoud bite the bullet and go under the knife.

Obviously. Cause by now the Flyers would have Weber, Parise, Nash and Ryan.

I think they might just go the veteran route and get a guy who is contempt with the backup job. A Hedberg, Biron type.
