I want us to sign Brandon Prust in Free Agency I think he will be a steal for the price he'll get. Love what Prust brings as a role player, also like Chris Kelly a lot but I know Boston wants to keep him there.

Anybody who wants he Sabres to take a serious run at Parise should want Stafford kept on the Sabres

They absolutely should be. People can say whatever they want about Kane being immature but he is still young that is why, bottom line is he is a hell of a hockey player IMO

Being young is a poor excuse for being a d-bag in general. He likely isn't available for trade if he isn't out embarrassing himself and the Blackhawks every summer. Bottom line the kids got all kinds of talent but is a professional and should act like one. He continues to make himself and the organization he plays for look bad and he should've grown up by now, yet he keeps putting himself in bad positions. Professional athletes know full well before signing on as a career that they're lives will be lived under a microscope. I'll pass on the guy that doesnt eat, sleep & breath being a pro on and off the ice. We have one of those in Roy and we all like him so much.

Edit....FEEL FREE TO IGNORE...just my opinion on a topic that's been beat to death.

He is just doing throw in commentary during pregame, postgame and intermission. No in game commentary.

He made 800k last year he'll probably command anywhere from 1.5-1.8 on the open market.

Why do I get the feeling Darcy is not gonna pull the trigger on any significant moves. ?? I have a gut feeling that the Sabres are in on Nash though, apparently Darcy was in love with him and desperately wanted to trade up to draft him.

Probably a bit. it cant hurt that They apparently train every summer together. I do wonder what stafford honestly thinks about buffalo beacause it must come up in conversation. Lets just hope he loves it here and he only says good things. I have my doubts though
