Totally agree that Hodgson should be our number one center and now. Not in 2 years. Not only was he arguably the best player on the last Cdn wjc team that won gold a team that included both our Tylers, Eberle and Tavares. If the Sabres management wants to build credibility with potential ufa's as they say. Taking a guy like Hodgson from the canucks where he was unhappy in a 3rd line role and then sticking in that same position here is the wrong way to go about it. What we need is a big checking center who can win faceoffs (not goose)

If Darcy wants to impress me send Roy and Sekera if need be to the Preds for the rights to Suter then sign him. Then take the 4 picks and Stafford and call the Blue
Jackets if Nash won't agree go after Bobby Ryan. We keep McNabb and Pysyk to replace Regehr and Leopold.

I think the idea is to have McClement in a 3rd/4th line center role. I'd rather have him then Hecht.
