i agree paul! the "headcase crap" term was created by the fans rivalry & a few writers! not 29 other GM's! probably won't happen , but if it does, i'm in on bobby lu!

I don't think it will happen either and not 100% sure it should. But if it were to happen not really sure it would be a bad thing. He sure would be the best goalie the Hawks have had since the Eagle hands down!

If Bowman doesn't make a move by the end of the draft, it's going to be one uneventful summer.

Second line center, true number three defensmen and a goalie. Those are not minor in my book. Hopefully they are minor in his.

I really think they are going into the year with CC and Emery unfortunatley, But at least deal hjarlmarsson get a center and get a true number 3 D.

I don't have any hard facts for you, but I would imagine that in most cases, if a UFA hits the market on July first, they're changing teams.

I could be wrong, I'm just speculating.

1) Crawford and Montador for Bobby Lu (solves our Goalie issue)
2) Hammer and Frolik for Z. Smith and N. Foligno (adds toughness)

Saves us 1.3 million on salary.

thats kind of what i'm talking about with swapping baddies ! lu gives us a goalie for the next 5-6...unless you want a beer league sieve in there! & no matter what the draft guru's say.. "we got NOTHING in the pipeline when it comes to between the pipes"!

If Suter is not in the plans, maybe a Joe Corvo (for the PP side) and SOB (for the physical dman). They would most likely be affordable.

Just heard from my top guy, he thinks Bowman is under pressure to get busy (from above). Watch for salary moves (Hammer), also possibly Kane moved. Too much to hunt and peck right now. Plots thickening re: Suter, Ryan, possible Hawk move on Parise

I like the Ottawa one but I think it would cost more than Frolik. At least stalberg. I would still do it, though. Also I would risk getting Luongo. It probably won't cost a lot plus he still can be a great goalie. Hate the contract, though
