Not for what you said . For the war it will start after.

NOBODY IS TRYING TO START A WAR!

I just find it hilarious that an unproven, undrafted prospect in Murray is apparently more valuable than 21 year old who blew EVERYONE'S expectations out of the water by making an NHL roster and having an incredible rookie season by playing big minutes in all situations. The poise, patience and potential that Gardiner displayed this season got the league's attention and he got better as the season went on!

The ONLY reason people are pissing on Gardiner IS BECAUSE HE'S A LEAF!

EVERY GM AND FAN AROUND THE LEAGUE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A GUY LIKE GARDINER, especially at what it cost to get him!!!

LOL... For what?

Right now Gardiner >>> Murray, but apparently drafting Murray at #1 is okay.

Right now: Most NHL Players > Any un-drafted player

What's your point.

It's a given Yakupov got a great skill set and all scouts agree he's in a group by himself. I for one beleive, with his size, you throw him in the big boys league, he will spend more time on IR than playing. He's no Ovechkin who is a offensive threat and has the body to protect himself and even throw his body around. You can teach skill but you can't teach size. Someone like Lucic or Kronwall would tear Nail's head off when given the opportunity. Having said that, I would not even trade Gards for Nail straight up. NHL nowadays is about size and skill.

Nail will be more hurt more often than Hall, just watch it. Gally is the winning horse this year, and the smart team will do anything to pry him.

My 2 cents

- hooligoon

if rnh can show that he can play (and dominate at times) with his frame (roughly the equivalent of an 8 year old girl), i don't see size as a limitation to success.

Preceisely!

My point is that Gardiner >>> Murray, but the Oilers fans are okay with drafting Murray at #1. See where their logic comes off the tracks and fails?

Problem is :

Phaneuf-Gunnar
Gardiner-Schutlz(maybe)
Schenn-JML
Holzer-Franson
Komisarek-Blacker
Percy

that's almost 2 teams full of d-man

- Kuleminator

Phaneuf or Franson on their way out via trade? Dump Komisarek in a trade for Luongo? We'll find out soon?

you do understand that saying that gardiner isn't worth the 1st over all pick isn't "pissing" on him, right?

Ur 2 cents is all about Truculence right??? did you even see photos of all the picks together... the 2 centers barely look an inch taller than Yaks... Galy looks to be same height in photos anyway...
