Oh and DP healthy again. Ic ant wait to see hime this year this is the year he goes back to all star form and we bring home the cup. DP rocks!!! I am so happy Jack told us how healthy is. This is a great day. I get my kids for the summer, It feels like summer outside, and DP is healthy. Does not get better then this.

I don't know... u may regret the trade.. but Ryan is a PROVEN nhl goal scorer for a couple of prospects that no matter how good they may be are still UNPROVEN. I would probably make that trade.

The reason we started to talk about him is he just signed in Europe.. so he will not be on the team. .. sorry.

I just feel the isles have 3 dmen signed for next year. The first order of business should be to get that back end up to speed. Our defense was horrific last year....

Bobby Ryan is a 25 year old 6' 2" 210 30 goal scorer in the NHL..singed for 3 years. I like Strome as much as all of you guys... but what are the odds Strome becomes a 30+ goal guy in NHL?

The bottom line is there is no place on this team for Rhett or Dibo. They are too small to really excel at the NHL level. The isles organization benefits from having them in the system as "depth" in case of injury, but if you're those players you gotta know this team has no intention of you making it full time.

Last year the rumor was his biggest offer was a 2nd rounder. If that rumor was true and (I doubt it) then I don't blame him on that one.

I don't really care that they bolted in terms of the Islanders. But that's a loss of Bridgeport's #1 and #4 leading scorers from last season. More surprised that Katic left with only 3 d-men under contract on the Isles. He had a shot at making the team, but far from the end of the world. Kabanov, Nelson, Persson, and Sundstrom should more than make up for the lost offense.
