We got down there at about 945 am and had 40 people tailgating with us... had a fantastic day, no issues at all..

At around 545 we were packing up to head into the concert when these dudes about 25 yards down starting acting like clowns.. Dude had a F-250 diesel with like a 2 foot lift kit. Lined the bed and filled it with water... yadda yadda..

The guy turns his truck on and start revving the engine and pumping black exhaust everywhere.. The whole portion of the lot with blacked out.. so some lady (probably in her mid 40's) asked my fiance if she was with those guys (she said no) and if she was could she ask them to stop because she had bad asthma and couldnt breathe. My fiance told her she would ask anyway. Well as soon as my fiance asked, the guy mocks her and floors it again (blacking the lot out again)... so I chucked a full bud light can right at his truck.. he couldnt see who threw it but was female doging none the less...

My fiance says "Maybe if you werent acting like a jerkoff people wouldnt be throwing poop".. the guy starts barking some BS at her and started getting over the top so me and a friend started to walk over... My buddy says to the guy "Cute truck your daddy bought ya"... and the dude goes ape poop.. Hops down out of the truck starts mouthing off to me (assuming it was me who said it).. The clown had on a bright-light blue FOX motocross shirt on... so I said to him "Your daddy probably bought that gay shirt for ya too, huh?"

Security was already there holding him back kinda but he still continues with "Ill knock you the f- out right now." So I stick my face out and tap my chin and say "Dont sit there and say it.. if you think you can.. do it. Heres my chin" So he swings (rather pathetically I might add) and hits me square in the center of my chest... Security guy pulls him back as his friend steps in to "sneak" me.. well I saw him and dodged his (also weak) attempt.. landed a one and done shot (first time in my life... and I did boxing/kickboxing for about 4 years) right on his chin... next thing I know all hell breaks loose.

Moral of the story (and something Ive been told I said there) "Dont start nothin, wont be nothin"


Best part about it was that the cops asked me "We got about 15 people that saw you get attacked.. do you wanna press charges?" (as the security guys are helping the guy back to his feet).

Prior to that I hadnt been involved in a non-hockey related fight in about 4 years.

And then when poop hits the fan, she gets pissed at me. Im not a huge dude (6' 205) but I have a temper. Im the runt in my family (my little brother is 6'5 275).. so my temper tends to boil over at times. Fortunately... this is the first time I ended up actually involved in a physical altercation.

I get mad, but I avoid confrontations. My wife heard me cancelling AOL years ago, and now she pre-emptively steps in when she see me getting upset.

The conversation with the AOL rep started with me saying, "While I admire AOL's diversity in hiring the mentally challenged to handle cancelling accounts, I think it might be more effective if they used people that had half a (frank)ing brain, so my wife doesn't see bills three months after she cancelled the service."

Since then, if I get upset, she tells me that I have something on my shirt and handles it.
