And there's an impact on the player involved, too. Who is still their player when all is said and done if he isn't moved. But it has to affect their feelings about the team. They're human beings.

Sure they do. They do it all the time.

It would go down like this. "hypothetical" Homer and Ducks GM have a deal planned. Homer first needs to land Nash. Homer asks the duck's gm, or leaks the information to a source that Ryan is available, then goes to Columbus and says I can give you this, cause we are also looking into Ryan.

Deadline has learned that Rob Zombie will direct Broad Street Bullies, a movie about the notoriously thuggish Philadelphia Flyers hockey team that came into being during the 1970s.
