much preferred to nash and his mountain of a burden of a ridiculous contract.
- OrangeBlack27

No arguement there but if we traded for Bowmeester they had better be throwing in a pick and be willing to take back a junk contract or two.

Absolutely. You are correct. No excuse for ever getting behind the wheel of a vehicle while intoxicated.

Both my Uncle (at 5 years old) and my Grandmother were killed by drunk drivers, however I'm not going to critize everyone that gets pulled over and gets a DUI (or DWI depends on the state.) Fact is if your close to the legal limit it is sometimes difficult to judge. And dont give me that if you dont know dont drive BS because 1 drink can put you over the legal limit.

Winnipeg may need a goaltender depending on what happens with Pavelec. Not the craziest suggestion in the world.

I said yesterday that if the Flyers were to move both JvR and Czechie I would go to the Jets with this offer..

JvR, Czechie, Bob for E.Kane and Tobias Enstrom

Not enough to warrant that contract..

He hasnt cracked 30 points over the past 3 seasons, and has one more goal than Coby (12 to 11) over that span as well.

- jak521

I know. He has had some productive seasons in Florida though, that is why I think a change of scenery might jumpstart him. But I'm of the opinion let it happen somewhere else.

agree. no reason to think his production wouldn't jump by 20 goals at least. i'm sure the jets would jump at a riskier forward with a big contract and a backup goalie in return. no-brainer.
- OrangeBlack27

kane is not signing there he doesnt want to play there

More like Blowmeester.

Why are we even talking about this guy? Thats a burden of a contract.

In theory it makes some sense, but there is no chance Briere waves his NMC to go play in what basically is the NHL's equivalent of Siberia.

And the way to crack down on it is to make the punishment for first time offenders as stringent as possible. I might be in the minority, but I think first time offenders should receive mandatory jail time if convicted, and loss of license for 3 years.

But enough about this, it's not the appropriate forum to discuss.

I say good for you for having a cause, but its not as clear cut as you think it is. For example, someone has a drink with dinner gets in thier car and is perfectly ok to drive. The town thier are in the legal limit is .1, but they drive through a town that is .08, and they somehow blow a .09. Your saying to give jail time to this mother of 4 that had 1 drink out with her friends, and was legal except in a no tolerance zone... blah blah blah.. but see how it's not so cut and dry.
