In my opinion you have to look at how hard the holes are to fill. And in my opinion that #1 Defenseman is a harder hole to fill then a scoring line Winger. So if the move is available, then I have to make it. The Flyers have added a bunch of Goalie over the years, in various moves. How has it worked out. Does that mean that they shouldn't have gone out and gotten a Goalie. Just because it hasn't worked in the past, doesn't mean you should stop trying. - MJL

Are we not good enough for your "possible" inside information?
Lets say you did have inside information... And you did post it on here... Even if it was obvious, would you not at least state why it was a valid source... Like "he works with the Flyers, or my sister is sleeping with JVR." You know? - RooNosHockey
It has nothing to do with being good enough for my information. It's about how you come off looking by saying you have inside information. Whether it's true or not. |

Not to stir up a bloody hornet's nest, have you heard anything about Parise? Or perhaps a scorer to take the place of JVR, Jagr and Vorechek? |

doublespeak - Crimsoninja
It's not double speak at all. It's my opinion on it. Why don't you stop beating around the bush and get to it? And say what you want to say! |

That would be anonymous, Einstein. And yes, posting your "info" is against the Code of Conduct. |

Parise is option #2 if Weber fails. I've said this before.
Again, though, take this for what it's worth since I don't expect everyone to accept what I'm saying.
I personally think Parise stays in NJ or goes to Minnesota though. |

Your right I don't. Nor do I know if your source is valid or not. But there are only a handful of sources that could supply that information accurately. And if your source is that high up, then how does he feel about you spreading what he tells you on the internet? |

Ban me then. I'm being asked questions by fellow posters, who seem intrigued.
And, yes, my mistake on the "anonymous". Thank you. |

So the best defenseman poosibly available and arguably the top Winger available are on the top of the Flyers wish list? Enlightening! |

Probably does not approve, but, again, I originally said what I did last week to simply start a dialogue and hockey discussion.

Exactly... any knucklehead can say they know someone who knows someone... I had direct knowledge of Carter and Nodl's health issues during the playoffs two seasons ago... but I didnt say a word. I could have, and could have backed it up.. but my source(s) asked me not to.. so I didnt. Being that I work in sports med here at Penn.. I hear a ton of different stuff from certain ppl... As it turned out.. the person I was speaking with was right on... Nodl wasnt being held out because of the laceration, but because of a concussion... and Carter was indeed being treated with PRP for his MCL sprain.
If you have a source who is 100% and you are gonna put out what they tell you... use the source... otherwise dont say anything. |

Right, but that doesn't mean that just because they're available that the Flyers are interested...
Semin is the #2 available winger, would that make the Flyers interested in him? Nope. |

I'm still torn on what I want them to do. I want Weber, but not at a ridiculous cost. We can always replace scoring easier at the TDL, but you can't geta true #1 shut dman with a 100 mph accurate slap shot. This is too difficult |
