Agreed. I thought somthing like 2.0-3.0 a year to sign with team that started his career.

2 mil would've been absurd. He's still a top 4 dman who led the Red Wings in hits, blocked shots and ice time on the PK. But I was hoping for somewhere between 2.75-3.2.
Still improves our D and I expect Douglas Murray to be shipped out now. |

Murray should be packaged with Pavelski, maybe Clowe, a prospect and a 1st round pick for Nash. I still dont think that will get it done |

We'll have to wait and see come draft day. I'm hoping Murray is traded for a 2nd round pick to a team like the Rangers that could definetly use a big, physical defensman. |

It's completely worthless, as none of us are GM;s, but I saw some Rangers fans on the HF Boards saying they'd be fine trading a prospect like Christian Thomas and a 2nd round pick. I'd certainly like to see that happen. |

If I were montreal I would for sure consider Parenteau , if the islanders would take
gomez and our 3rd pick, free up some cap space and get a decent player in return get er done now! than we can go after a centre in free agency, grab Paul Gaustad or joki, the reason i would give islanders our 3rd pick is because they are kind enough to take gomez off our hands, and they have to hit that cap floor again anyway, if not the 3rd pick than a second rounder , |
