Dustin Penner and Jarret Stoll are both free agents. If Lombardi traded the on he couldn't side it would be good for the kings and great for the Devils. Plus, Parise wants to sign for a winner, which pretty much eliminates the leafs as a suitor...

Maybe Brian Burke should offer a contract to Darren Roanoke. At least he brought the leafs to a cup final...

there were a few reports and tweets earlier about Colorado and Buffalo in serious trade talks currently with Roy, Sekera, and Stastny all being confirmed as pieces in the puzzle.. the rest is unknown.

That would be a decent trade....but I don't think you'd see the Avs move Stastny. He's too important in a number of different ways. I could see a tender moved in that deal, though.

Not really worth the price of his contact (Stastny) but that's not his fault...

Visnovsky is 35 and already talking about retiring when his contract ends next year so that is useless.. Palmeiri and Fowler are good pieces thou..

If they traded their #1 prospect Emmerson Etem then they could be serious you are right I guess...

With Selanne, Blake, and Koivu all probably gone or retiring in the next year or so they get another 12M in cap space..

Nashville's forwards are very underrated as far as I'm concerned. Legwand, Fisher, Hornqvist, Wilson, S. Kostitsyn are a good group, along with Martin Erat, the most underrated player in the league imo. With Bourque and Craig Smith coming up....they are a solid group of forwards. And that's without Rads and AK46.
