I suspect this means Subban signs short term or gets a ridiculous number like 6 mil, maybe 5.5.
- habby

Why?

He doesn't have the numbers to get so.

For example, Jack Johnson, before signing his 30,5M/7year contract had two seasons of 38 an 42 points.

That's a good comparable. A cap hit of 4,3M, that would be reasonable and fair.

are we talking genuine fear here of more just a little concern?

Constant anxiety.

People can laugh all they want but I'd take PK. I think by the end of their careers he's the more complete player.
- habby

That's a polite way of saying "one is clearly more talented than the other".

You can't ask a guy that puts up 78pts per season to play a solid defensive game all night. He'll be prone to make more mistakes. Surround him with players that will cover his back.

Solid goaltending for the Sens is a pretty drastic change if you ask me.

Karlsson was more solid defensively this year than a lot of people give him credit for. A couple of giveaways a game but 90% of the time the second he gets the puck you know it's out of the zone and (frank) is he ever tough to hit.

I think to me the bottom line is really that Karlsson took over the defense and established himself as the number 1.

Subban, we're still hearing about game systems that don't fit him. defense partners that can complement him. He just doesn't give off any impression to me that he will ever take over this defense. Probably will end up being a great no. 2 guy but I don't see this ever becoming PK SUbban's team.

- dt99999

I don't agree with the bolded. He already started to do that last year.

If you had to choose, Darche or Rocket Richard?
- hscesq

Right now?

Darche since Rocket Richard is dead.

Next question?

I'd say that if Subban has a season comparable to Karlsson next year, it could be considered drastic.
