Well, that would go against the purpose of the post, which was to bash Timmins.

Your request has been rejected.

- Pecafan Fan

It was rejected because 6 others asked the same thing of him.

Stick to stats, comparisons, long-winded posts about things you know very little about, and Ameros. Leave the funny stuff to others.

I just find it funny...also, that's an article from 3 years ago...and it also mentions the Habs have passed on...Chris Campololi.

New arena built here was just like that.

It's stupid though because somehow the beer leagues have less Ice time than they used to have before its building.

And the costs to rent an hour of ice in those kind of buildings are really mindboggling, crazy prices. So the city increased their fee too.

- QuebecPride

Not really, you have to consider the bulding cost which the city has to finance over a 20 year period.

Operation

Maintenace

On the other had yes you rent for a big fee every year.

But you save every year on maintenance and operation

And you also get taxes on the building which is worth a couple millions which is not a small amount.

Can't they relocate the (frank)ing Coyotes already?

And it would take a city at least 3 or 4 years to build, a private contractor can do it in one.

Not every Dman can be an offensive juggernaught. But you ask around the playoff who is often the most valuable units on a successful team and its almost always the nice, reliable two way guys on the back end who can make that first pass, and can play 26 minutes a night, and can get down and block shots and can shut down the other teams top guys. You never win if you don't have these guys regardless of how many fancy forwards you have at your disposal.

Murray will be taken #2 IMO anyway so its probably a moot point. Habs will end up with Galchenyuk or Forsberg an in no way is that a bad thing either. Unless something drastic happens they will likely pick in the top #10 again and can shore up whatever holes they feel they have in terms of prospect depth at that time.

I agree with all of this.

You clearly base your opinion on what you read, so it must be wrong.

There's one buddy in my old keeper league who watches (frank)ing all hockey he can get and knows all his prospects. Year after year he pumps his chest right after drafting guys like Nino Niederreiter or Magnus Paajarvi, saying QPesque things like HIS SKATING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD.

And they suck at the NHL level.

Watching the TSN mock draft last night I suddenly realized how much I haven't missed Pierre McQuire in the least.

He suggested Subban and the 3rd for the first for all of those who only a couple of weeks ago were clamoring for him to be anointed GM of the Habs.

Galchenyuk and Subban for Yakupov.

Jesus.
