If he's to take Terevainen, he'll probably try to trade down to 4-5 and snatch a 2nd rounder.

Yup. That could surely happen.

Timmins? I watched him pick AK-46 in 2003, that was the start of much bs to come.
- Prolific_Scorer

The only complaint anyone could have had at the time is that we took in winger instead of a centre, AK was regarded as a top talent. None of knew what was going to happen.

Easy there big guy.

Their origins have nothing to do with it. Grigs' stock plumetted for a reason since January. My preference if they decide to pick a centre would be Galchenyuk. He scored very well at the combine and his knee seems to be completely healed. Grigorenko seems to be ultra talented, but lacks drive and edge.

Based on what I have read, I would chose Galchenyuk. Your bone rises for Grigorenko. I respect that opinion even though I don't necessarily agree with it.

And then trade the said 2nd rounder and Nashville's 51th for a low 1st rounder.

So do we get to have Ek telling Leaf fans to calm down after he reports that Malkin is in play to Toronto this year?

(frank) that poop.

Beaulieu and third for 1st overall and Klefbom.

- QuebecPride

know nothing about klefbom but Beulieu being dealt would cause rioting. More likely we are dumb enough to trade away ANOTHER monster on the blueline

Ok, I don't know Mathias Brunet's voice. Was it he who talked about Vanessa Paradis being single?

Please show me where I denied where my opinion came from. I denied that his birth place had anything to do with my opinion.

*doubts sincerity of besties pledge*

How did you base your opinion though? On scouts reports you read and on the few games televised.

There are a bunch of scouts who follow the trend paved by a lot of GM's who are scared to draft russians. They devalue players based on that. Evgeny Kuznetzov was drafted 26th overall by the caps, and he's a top5 talent.

Tarasenko was drafted 16th overall, and he was a top5 talent.

Again this year, Slepyshev should be in the same discussion as Forsberg, Collberg, Teravainen, Gaunce and Faksa.

Oh yeah. Good times. I threw it back in the other day and played Horde with the boy. The only down fall was that he didn't talk to Anya like she was in the room with us.

So if Gardiner is worth more than a 1st overall and Malkin was drafted 2nd, would Malkin and a 1st for Gardiner be enough?
