Are you counting on Timmins not being retarded? Cause i am not, he will take the small finn or murray imo.

If they hold on to their pick, it will be between Grigorenko and Galchenyuk.

Especially the Habs...
CLB is sure to get one of the 2 forward from Sarnia.
Habs have to hope EDM pick a dman.

- fidopro

Yes. And the BJs could also take a dman, even though it's unlikely. It's not like they have only one need.

That would be my pick. Seems to have more overall consistency. Just worried about his wonky knee.

Im totally cool with that. Grigs scares me as a pick from what i have read about him. I'll take more effort less skill.

Who ever they pick, the guy will already be good enough to be on our top 6.

Plek must be so excited right now!

Another scenario that worries me is picking for Pleks winger a la Forsberg.

That being said, I could see them trade down to 9th and pick Teravainen, and get Evender Kane in the process...

(frank)ing beast!!!!!!

What I meant was, we need a skilled centre and I would rather give up a bit of flash for drive, which Galchenyuk is reported to have.

With this being said, Montreal will draft a d-man.

Not sure he'll still be up for grabs at 9th. At that rank, I'd hope for Trouba.

No, seriously, I hope they draft Galchenyuk, but I can't say it's because I saw him play.

ok this is bs.

What the hell kind of consistency Galchenyuk have that Grigs doesnt? They've both played one season at the junior major level and both scored around 85 pts during those seasons.

You guys are simply biased because he's russian. At least be male enough to be frank about it.

Easy there big guy.

Their origins have nothing to do with it. Grigs' stock plumetted for a reason since January. My preference if they decide to pick a centre would be Galchenyuk. He scored very well at the combine and his knee seems to be completely healed. Grigorenko seems to be ultra talented, but lacks drive and edge.

Based on what I have read, I would chose Galchenyuk. Your bone rises for Grigorenko. I respect that opinion even though I don't necessarily agree with it.
