Check with the city, because if you want it to be 4 seasons, you might have to build foundations as well. It is the case here, and let's say, it changes the overall cost quite a bit.

yeah that's what I'm not sure about... I don't know if you need a full foundation but for a 4 season one it's pretty much an addition to the house...

We built an extension to the house 2 years ago. We had it installed on techno-pieux. It is, in theory, a 3 season extension. But in reality, it is 4 season as it is completely insulated.

Thicker regular type windows too? .....if so why in theory do you still consider it a 3 season? Permits different?
