Seems a little far-fetched.

Like the Dominican guy against whom I played baseball when I was pee wee. We were all 14. He was 6'3'', had a beard and pitched at 75mph.

But according to his birth certificate, he was 13.

I recall having heard that this year's draft was nothing special...

all of a sudden we have future Scott Stevens, Scott Niedermayer, Daniel Alfredsson, Marian Hossa, Pavel Bure...

Just a little? Just watch him become the best player of the draft. Since he started dropping in the rankings I've heard him interviewed a few times and he sounds pretty motivated to prove people wrong.

People believe that when a prospect's style of play is compared to that of a superstar, they will inevitably become one as well.

You forgot the -lite.

Forsberg if a mix of Forsberg-lite, Sundin-lite and Naslund-lite.

No kiddiing. The guy is ranked number 2 halfway through the season and gets Mono.
Now he sucks.

Good luck with that.

I suggest that you pile some money.

I'm probably going to sell anyway and buy something with my girlfriend. Still 2 years left. I took 5 years variable at 1.9%, hasn't gone up, that was an awesome move.

3.Montreal Canadiens – Nail Yakupov, Sarnia Sting, Right Wing – The Habs would be pinching themselves if this plays out. Yakupov could be the most dynamic player in this draft but also could struggle playing a two way game at the next level.

Somehow I don't think anyone gives a flying (frank) about this. The chances of this happening are about as slim as the likelihood of the Augello and Meltzer thread posters suddenly developing common sense and learn to spell.

Honestly, if the their plan is to trade down and draft him i wouldn't have a problem with it.

Playing through it seems to have actually hurt his chances of going high in the draft.
