Yeah I know. All NHL teams are currently in a kings ransom war to trade for Gardiner apparently.

Take the best player available.
- mcmanmat

Yes, exactly. Picking 3rd should give them that chance, I'm not sure it does this year.

It changes each 17 minutes for me.

Same here. Like right now I'd like them to trade down and draft Dumba.

Burke has already refused the Oilers' 1st and Eberle for Gardiner and 5th. Burkie thought the 5th was enough.

I'm gonna wait till they pick someone and then say he was my unquestioned favourite the whole time

Edit: for some reason, I think I'm getting onboard the Galchenyuk bandwagon.

Thank god for him. Four in a row was enough to lose.
Jose Molina hit an absolute bomb off him though.
My favorite part of this start, was that his last pitch was a 98 MPH fastball blown by a good hitter.

If you throw chances are you will get some big bombs hit agaisnt you. Harder it comes in, faster it leaves the bat.

Or trade down to draft Terevainen, use a couple of 2nd rounders ans Beaulieu and take Trouba. I've got a friend who saw him play all year and he thinks even though Murray is good, Trouba has the best tools to become a superstar.

I'm on the bandwagon because Montreal is rarely in a position to draft a centre with that kind of skill. His knee is a question mark, but lots of 1st round prospects had injuries this past season.

That's the guy I think they should take, it's the guy almost everyone seems to think they should take....which is why i wonder if they shouldn't be taking someone else.
