He must be high if he even thinks that might work. A 3rd round pick and Marty Reasoner wouldn't come close to getting us Stalberg only, let alone a throw in of a pretty good defenseman. - eichiefs9
If you read his blog (and I'm sure you didn't) the Hawks want to dump salary so they can bid on some big time free agents. They don't want salary...just picks... |

a simple..."oops, my bad" would go a long way - LetsGoIsles
It was a joke which i explained already. I saw how you wrote it. It gets tiring explaining things to you constantly. If I felt I was wrong i would have no problem admitting to it as I have done in the past, even to you. |

Scouts and Professionals was written in a context where it could be taken as any "scouts and professionals". I ran with it to make a joke. Are you going to be an annoying person now too? - Cptmjl
any "scouts & professionals" who are implied as trading "a 26 year old forward and a 25 year old defenseman for a 35 year old 4th line center and a DRAFT PICK" which would ONLY have been Chicago!!

But your explanation doesn't make any sense unless you made a mistake. This is why an "oops my bad" would have worked for him.

I could care less what would work for him and for you for that matter. As I said before, it was joke. He said, "the scouts and professionals that get paid to evaluate players" I know he was referring to Chicago. Their scouts and "professionals" are obviously better than ours at what they do so I made a comparison and a joke. I said the same "scouts and professionals" not in a literal sense. Congratulations, you are now sucking the life out of me. One more draining then the other. Incredible. The same man(?)who thinks Wang is a genius is questioning my reading comprehension. |

Its Genius really.
That is not to say I agree with it, but its not against the rules of the cap, its not an issue brought up in the CBA... if Wang goes this route i can't fault him for it... I can disapprove... but i understand.

You guys need to read the other blogs...there is some good information on what their teams are looking for...I have been reading Jaekel's blog for awhile and he seems to know someone in Hawks front office to give him some good info. The Hawks want to dump salary and they are offering a lot of players around the league...just saying... |

It all depends on how desperate they are for the cap space. |

I don't doubt they want to shed salary, but Stalberg is a great young power forward. He put up numbers similar to Okposo last season..would you trade Okposo and MacDonald for Marty Reasoner and a third round pick? I wouldn't.
If they are truly shopping players around, which I could certainly believe, someone will undoubtedly offer more than spare parts for those two.
edit: Not to mention Stalberg's cap hit is $875k, not exactly shedding a ton of salary there. |

They should have a picture of Wang taking a piss on the fans, that's the reality of the situation. |
