I tend to cut players slack for being injured, like Kovalchuk and Gaborik. Apparently Kovalchuk had it bad.
- yea-ok-buddy

Well you know when a plug plays hurt, you never really know, notice, or care, most times, but we give the more skilled players more bs for not being able to produce while injured, not so sure it is really fair, considering the plugs cant produce well even when not injured, why is it we expect the stars to be able to keep producing even while injured?

I have no investment into this site, this is volunteer work, what happened is cumulative and I will leave it at that, we (refs) tried so hard to keep him inline and a few others, you guys don't know how many times I have saved him and others from lengthy bans, my preference is to have you guys post, this is a privately owned site and the owner setup a set of rules to follow, they have final say on how they want their site run.

Yes, and I commend you for volunteering. It takes good people to want to stand up and deal with a hockey version of Dodge City, Kansas, in the 1870's. There are many different and diverging views. I've had my moments with people here, for the last few years and yes, UG could piss me off from time to time. However, I never heard any personal insult stuff. I've seen him also get very close to that line, with others, but never quite pass over that offside line. Yes, I can see a cummulitive result of constant arguing and bickering. UG did that, but others continued to aggitate him and get him cranked up. It's all in the delivery. Points of view, are points of view. Sometimes, I just looked at it as entertainment. This kind of takes the entertainment value out of the Leafs thread.

Yeah, i have had a number of wonderful hockey chats with UG, disagreed with him plenty, and yet, neither person had to lower themselves into namecalling or any of the other nonsense. Which i may add, is usually brought on by the other person and not UG.

I have had chats with him to, countless PM's trying to calm him down, a lot of you guys don't know what is going on most of the time, I went over and beyond with a few posters here trying to save them.

Do I make mistakes on bans? hell yes I do but we are all human and make errors in judgment, if we do, the admins will over turn it.

Gaborik is much more easily containable than Nash.

Nash will actually use his size to get into the opening, and Richards would compliment him well.

Gabo's pure speed

Ya only speed, glad he's destroyed Nash in production every year. What a useless tit he is.

He made the threads an interesting place. He debated with facts, stats and good points. He did get pretty snarky at times (ok most of the time) but he never really crossed the line of the COC that I saw. Internal thing I guess, just seems like an awfully long time when other worse stuff goes unpunished a lot. Done is done I guess.
