Dude, last warning, stop the (frank)ing UG crap, if you have a problem email support, leave it out of the threads. It's not hard to comprehend.

Are refs not the only ones with banhammers? Can commissioners ban too? Was it Capt EO or EK???
- Tee-Dot

Yes they can and they have the final word, they can over rule us refs or they can add to the ban or delete accounts, it is up to them.

Crazy prediction here, Colborne recovers successfully from wrist surgery and makes the Leafs right out of camp.
- yea-ok-buddy

Colborne will be lucky if he makes the Marlies next year...he wasn't anything special this past year.

He did have some valid points, everytime he said them which was about 5000 times each.
- yea-ok-buddy

True, but the majority of people went into defence mode with him and just went ape poop all the time instead of just conversating with the guy.

Wrist injury (surgery now) most of the year, I will cut him some slack and see how he does next season.

I'm going to say this just once, none of us refs banned UG, this was done internally for reasons they explained to the mods and I won't reveal it because I want people to move on, there is so much else to talk about other than one poster to the site, it stays with the refs.
- LeafMan

This is not a slam, but I can tell you something that happened to me, a few years back. I was banned from TMLFan for life, for criticizing Matts Sundin over him not waiving his no trade clause. The whole Muskoka 5 thing. Many over there were pure in the bag for whatever MLS&E fed them. I debated over this for at least a week and took allot of personal attacks. I ended up getting that lifetime ban for expressing my opinion. In other words, I was lynched for not towing the corporate line. Now if UG was banned for saying something over the top or doing something totally over the top, then I have no qualms about this. However, if he was banned because allot of the immature fanboy types couldn't debate him square up and had issues with him, then I question this banning. Of course, it is your right to do so, since you and your confederacy here at Hockey Buzz own it. I'm just one member that just wanted to make sure that justice was served in this situation and confrontation. For the record, was anyone else banned at the same time?

I agree, the wrist is so important in hockey, especially for a playmaker like Colborne.

Can commissioners ban refs? Because I want to be one for a day and ban Howard for 4 hours for good times sake.

So colborne gets the pass while someone else earlier gave Gaborik the gears for being injured, seems a little two sided doesn't it?

I have no investment into this site, this is volunteer work, what happened is cumulative and I will leave it at that, we (refs) tried so hard to keep him inline and a few others, you guys don't know how many times I have saved him and others from lengthy bans, my preference is to have you guys post, this is a privately owned site and the owner setup a set of rules to follow, they have final say on how they want their site run.

Probably because he hacked his way onto the site as that 'anonymous poster' who apparantly joined up in late 1969, y'know, when the site was just starting up and rumours of exapansion to california got an e5

Gaborik is much more easily containable than Nash.

Nash will actually use his size to get into the opening, and Richards would compliment him well.

I tend to cut players slack for being injured, like Kovalchuk and Gaborik. Apparently Kovalchuk had it bad.

And shot, Nash plays a more physical game then Gaborik as well, last time Gaborik hit anybody he was still with Minny.
