Leaf have the option of not doing Gillis any favours.

Komisarek and a 2nd. Maybe a middling prospect, if Vancouver takes Connolly or Armstrong as well.

- Schenn-Sational!

Lu will be the Leafs saviour, he is the only goalie option out there, therefore gardiner, schenn and the 5th is an understatement

Really ....gonna have to remember that one. We go there all summer after our games so I've never been able to try that one.

Does it go with Nacho's? ...cuz there nacho's are great.

- The Law

Get to cobblestone stout.

Their Pilsners are really good, too.

He didn't see the real situation: Toronto is the only team looking at Luongo, they have no choice but to trade him to us, and therefore can be fed any price.

the sampler pack they had out last summer. Didn't like any of them really. The cream ale in particular was terrible. Looking at their website, I'll admit I haven't tried most of what they're pushing now

EDIT: I remember spitting out the pilsner also

Just a thought and i know most of you would hate on it though it makes sense. We have no number one center right? Bozak is NOT a number one center. What if next season we dont acquire a center? What if we rolled with Kadri or Galchenyuk (if drafted)? I think Galchenyuk would need one year in the AHL since he missed a full season for our team or any team personally.

Kessel Kadri Lupul

Kul Grabo Mac EDIT

Frattin Bozak Connolly

Crabbs Stecks Brown

I put kadri 1st line center because its time to see how our so called number one prospect pans out in a full season with our two top players. And i DO 100% believe kadri can do just as good or better than bozak in a full season. Kadri has more potential and it is his time to show what he can do with two top guns on both of his sides. Just my opinion since bozak is better on the third line and is decent in our zone. He fits the bill for 3rd line center.

I think Burke is going to try to swing for the fences this year and may try to package 1st with other assets to try to get someone like Getzlaf.

Obviously, a big game changer if he can pull it off but:

Is Getzlaf-Carslyle an issue?

If it doesn't work, does he then go after this year's version of Connolly to try to plug a 1C hole?

I don't like cream ales in general, and I haven't seen their pilsner around... but the mad tom IPA, craft ale, and dark ale are awesome... and their winter seasonal was great.

Realistically this is what will happen:

Toronto trades 5th overall + Schenn for Duchene
Toronto trades Kadri, MaCarthur, Percy, 2012 2nd for E. Kane
Toronto trades Komisarek, 2013 2nd, Scrivens for Luongo
Toronto signs Schultz
Toronto trades/demotes MaCarthur, Connolly, Lombardi

Lupul Duchene Kessel

Kane Grabovski Kulemin

Frattin Bozak F.A?

Armstrong Steckel Brown

Gunnarsson Phaneuf

Gardiner Schultz

Holzer Franson

Luongo
Reimer

Leafs then miss playoffs, Burke gets fired and we start over.

why would they take a potential healthy scratch to replace a guy that would be sitting on the bench? if you're getting a 60 game player you better believe you're giving up at least one back
- sushi

Best of luck with that.

Getzlaf has played all his career with Carlyle... was there a big falling out this year?

I'd rather Jordan Staal. And I don't want to hear how he isn't a top liner. He's a 23 year old who plays with poopty linemates, and still puts up good numbers while being a Selke nominee.

If that's what he is at 23, imagine what he'll be between 25-33, playing with a guy like Kessel.

a goalie of Lu's caliber and amazing contract should attract 29 teams, i think another team will put together a better package

My kitchen is like a Mill Street museum. Wasn't a big fan of the Cobblestone (had it at the Rhino in Parkdale) ..not bad ..but a little watery. I've been doing a lot of St Ambroise which is almost an overload of flavour so my taste buds are expecting big all the time now.

Organic is my go to lager though.

I notice the Pilsner is no longer on the website. It was the silver can in the sampler. I would conclude that many had the reaction I did.

Some of those others they have look interesting though so maybe I'll give them another chance on the less mainstream stuff.

30 teams.

I just heard that Vancouver is thinking of putting together a strong offer for Luongo.

Yes, he's that attractive.

that might have something to do with the Rhino Grab it at their brewpub.

Organic and tankhouse are my go-to beers.

Also, Big Rock's Grasshopper is awesome... but their Trad Ale is awful

He's got plenty of options.
The Leafs have one option, Luongo. That puts Burkie in a very tough spot.

Gardiner, Schenn + 1st for Luongo.
