Honestly... Thornton and Marleau should be traded if the right deal came along.. both of them are at the top of their respective hills and are coming to the downside of their careers very soon...

Now if it is paired with the youth of Clowe and Pavelski.. then no..

but I personally think that SJ should listen to offers for Thornton/Marleau.

- JVince117

Oh trust me, I'm right there with you. If it was up to me, we'd start the slow rebuild as soon as this year. Our Cup window has clearly closed.

Trading away Clowe though would be tough. He's one of the only guys on this roster with any sandpaper to him.

Luongo will be retiring just when Markstrom will be ready to take over. Give it 4-5 years and Florida will be in a great spot.

Luongo for Gudbranson, Matthias + 1st.

- Scooby_Doo

Dude.... give it up. Luongo won't be getting you a 1st or any top prospect, period. Not unless there's a lot more than just Luongo coming back.

Have you seen anything if one of Thornton, Marleau or Crowe or all are being shopped around in your area?
- LeafMan

From what I've heard, Marleau is definetly on the block. Doug Wilson is very, very high on Thornton though, so I don't expect him to be moved. Clowe could definetly be traded for the right pieces. But I think it would have to return a top 6 forward with a different skill set.

truth is.. on saturday i halped my sister's bf remove a kitchen cupboard set

after we stored it we stood there and drank busch in the nice warm sun.. it was rather enjoyable..

when you are covered with saw dust, and dirt.. cold busch in the sun is perfect..

dont worry.. i was a pretentious beer drinker in my 20s as well

Sounds delicious.

Couple nights ago I made BBQ chicken at like, 1 in the morning. And it tastes amazing aha.

Chicken, grilled asparagus, and a small salad sounds nice. Maybe a baked potato.

Thanks, I haven't heard much except some tweets from suspect sources.

What do you think Marleau will go for, looking for a pick and prospect or an established player or combo of both?

...theres been a few good games, but the flopping around and whining is absolutely shameful. I realize it's part of the game, but if they would just toughen up like hockey players I would have a helluva lot more respect for the sport.

Honestly, I'd be lying if I pretended to know what the team is looking for.

If it were up to me however, I'd try to get as high a pick as possible + a prospect for him.

DW seems to be in desperation mode to get this team to the Stanley Cup this upcoming year so I doubt he'll do that though. It's an unrealistic and unfortunate goal for him, but if he doesn't achieve it, I think he knows he's done as GM in San Jose.

My mom use to make rabbit in homemade tomato sauce & basil all the time, with polenta on the side.

Now I'm hungry, have to get lunch ready.
