Markstrom's ready now. His poop numbers his first season in the AHL had moreso to do with him growing 3 inches and not adjusting. Last season both in the AHL and NHL he was stellar.

It's similar to Lecavalier for Komi+: we'd get that big center, but at a long term cost that I wouldn't want this team to have to endure.

I could potentially see Komisarek and Edler being a good d pairing. He played great with Markov, but didn't have that top d man in Toronto to partner with.

Either Schenn or Komisarek would be a good fit with Edler as a replacement for Salo.

If Florida believes that they can continue to win the SE Division and compete in the playoffs over the next few years, and they believe that Luongo is a piece that helps them achieve it, then that's the best way to attract a fan base and get in the black.

I have no idea if Tallon thinks Luongo makes them a better team...but if he does and he puts a similar offer on the table that Burke does, my hunch says Florida would get the nod.
