I don't think Bernier is being shopped... at least not yet. - Deadmau55
I don't think Burke is inquiring... at least not yet.
Adds a certain air of mystery to every statement, that ending |

Wouldn't move Reimer either, don't think Burke would either.
He still deserves another season to prove himself... just like Gustavsson had plenty of time

Dreger said the price at the deadline was a 2nd rounder.... Or at the leafs wouldnt give up the 2nd rounder to get the deal done for bernier at the deadline. |

Sounds good, Burke did draft the twins and Kessler is American so he's Burkes type. I'd say its an inevitable deal. |

It doesn't make sense getting Bernier with Scrivens and Reimer here, if we get a goalie it should be a proven goalie. But Bernier does have more potential then both our goalies. |

Potential my friend and if I'm not mistaken Bernier has put up better numbers in the AHL and NHL. |

they've both barely scratched the surface in the nhl, of course there's not necessarily one of the two that's way better.
but anyone who doesn't see that bernier has the potential to be a starter that wins championships, and scrivens potential outside of the ahl seems limited.. is on glue. |

it's all a matter of opinion at this point, and speculation. It would make sense, you let the three of them duke it out when the season opens, and two of them remain with the big club and the third starts off in the minors.
Now they do say they want proven, so I doubt the type of scenario I outlined actually happens...

I'm sure pretty much everyone in the world would agree that Bernier has the better potential out of the bunch. |
