how often is the euro cup thingy, is it like the world cup where it's only so often?

Why only allow european countries to play, are they afraid Canada will dominate them all?

It is every 4 years but alternates with the World Cup.. so every two years we get a tournament..

the other Conferences have their own tournaments.. that are scheduled at different times..

The Euro is the best one.. most competitive.. the games tend to be better than in the world cup..

As for Canada I go to their games.. but unfortunately they never qualify for anything...

I presume you mean Wilson, as in Doug Wilson. Common mistake though as we have a defensman named Doug Murray, and Doug Wilson was once a Sharks Dman as well.

I actually respect "football" a lot more than American sports like Baseball and American football.

At least with football(soccer) you have to be in foolish shape and have a crazy amount of skill to play and I would watch it probably before I watch a baseball or American football which in either case you can be a fat slob and still be successful at.......

Go figure Americans would invent sports that you can be fat slobs at and still make millions

Remember early on in the season he was rushing the puck and making amazing scoring chances AND THEN he would back check like a (frank)ing God? More of the latter. Then again, Perry/Getz/Ryan never declined in their scoring abilities....

I got my rebounds Friday and Saturday. Went 3/8.

Andrew Raycroft is a serviceable back up. Doesn't make him a starter. Throwing them in here and there works for early twenties goalies who need to take baby steps for 3-5 years like Bernier has

Reimer and Scrivens are getting close to being in their late twenties in a year or two. This is when you basically $hit or get off the pot with a goalie and find out what you have. Reimer proved he could do it healthy and Scrivens dominated the AHL this year.

I realize we all have nightmares of Gustavsson and his struggles but he dominated a swedish elite league. Never had the type of accolades Reimer or Scrivens have right now.

Bringing in Luongo kills any chance of them being a starter with this organization and leaves us in a situation where we're searching for goalies in 5 years which is when this team is projected to really be contending if everything goes as planned

He becomes Schenn......... under utilized and under appreciated........ just kidding.

Many offensive players playing for defensive minded teams. He will have to realize that most teams in the NHL are playing that brand of hockey these days and not all out offense. Bruins and Kings are examples of that so all teams will be trying to mimic their style of play which is a more conservative brand

Hopefully he's smart enough to realize that and makes the most of his opportunities. His ice time certainly won't diminish and he proved early last year he could be defensively responsible.
