Haven't heard anything substantial about that here. Most Canucks fans are pretty excited about seeing what he can do with a full year, and hoping he comes into camp in a bit better shape.

Raymond replacing stempniak in Calgary would work to.

He didn't really look disinterested here, but a bit gassed and overwhelmed at times.

He didn't come into the best situation here, and IMO Vigneault didn't handle him properly. Showed some good things early on, and still a lot to be optimistic about, but it may take some time. Hodgson will likely have a larger impact early on.

I think he's the kind of kid that needs a vet player to show him the way. He's a like a lab, tell him what to do or he's just going to find something to chew on and do dumb things.

The team would improve a lot with that kind of player on it. They lost that big brother when mitchell left.

What? Mitchell wasn't even on the Canucks when they went to the cup finals. There's a ton of leadership on the team. He spent a lot of time with the Sedins over the spring. He was spotted on the grouse grind with them a number of times. The Canucks are fitness freaks and Kassian will catch on.

You really think Luongo is going to say something like that? It's obviously someone close to the team, or even another player on the team, but it's not Luongo.

You don't know what your talking about and his gaff against the Blackhawks cost the Canucks. He played well in l.a but that has a lot to do with the system and his smaller stick. Good defenseman and we could use him but wasn't worth the price and risk at the time. One dimentional and coming off a major injury. Mitchell and Linden should not be in the same sentence. Flames suck.

I'm not sure if they make good trading partners. The Oilers won't trade RNH, Ebs or hall. Don't see Gagner being a good fit. If Van would be ok with PRV and some propects maybe something could be done. Won't be enough for Van. I wouldn't mind having Luo though, especially with our D. He is a guy that takes the team to the next level. The Oilers just won't move what it will take to get him and Van doesn't need what the Oilers would give them.

I'm bringing him up more for his grit and personality. And as someone that was on the team and wasn't used in that capacity (again that's something I blame AV for).

And Mitchell was not in the same sentence as Linden. Just offered up as a someone that did at least fit into that role while there. Last year they didn't have that kind of role-player. Bieksa possibly was the closest too it.

I guess if his stock has dropped. A year ago you guys would laugh at that trade. It wouldn't take long for Hemmer to make fans out of you guys as long as he stayed healthy. If Tambs was offered that deal he would be crazy not to take it.
