I love it how Reimer's a bust but Lindback's a "future elite #1". - gravyface
Its your people calling for a new goalie. Lindback has had a lil more seasoning to. |

He's played half as many games, Reimer had a concussion last year (ask Miller how that works out), and they have very similar stats; oh and, the Leafs are a terrible team; NASH, not so much. |

No they are just a couple of career backups. - jakenewton
That's a hefty price for a backup, wouldn't you think? |

Lindback had a rough go this yr. he played like a game a month. He didnt get alot of starts. I wasnt saying one is better than the other. though i do think one is. |

well its going from 2 extremes with lindback
either he is a very good backup to an average starter all the way to he will be an elite #1 goalie
and then you have people saying the trade was overpayment, to its an ok deal to tampa fans saying its an absolute steal |

People saying this is an overpayment are wrong. This is a long term deal. If Lindback ends up playing like a number 1, this deal could end up being a steal. - mochoson
Or you could just be a moron as usual. |

Laugh it up, Scooby snack, but I fail to see why Lundback's "a future star" anymore so than Reimer is. |

Hot rumour on Vancouver radio is Mike Gillis has a multi-player deal in place with the Blue Jackets which has Nash coming back to the Canucks but Luongo has not agreed to join the BJs yet and may not agree to do so.

Not according to Don Taylor. Chicago is the other team in contention but Gillis doesn't want to take back Corey Crawford in the trade. Burkie apparently is out of the running.

I am excited about his potential. He's young, talented and motivated. Yes he was 5-8 this season, but even more important is the 2.42 and .912 attached to that. |

It's interesting that Stevie Y goes after a 2nd straight big goalie when he never played in front of one with that same style. Garon's not good enough to be a 1A or 1B so they need to do something else.
Maybe he still has Mike Smith on the brain.

Probably a lot!
Unless of course they carried a massive contract and had a bad reputation in the playoffs. Then they'd probably fetch a lot less than that fanbase would like. |

dude, you were a couple couple losses from missing the playoffs completely. nobody likes sore losers but sore winners are worse.
parise is a mega star. of course you'd want him on your team. there's zero chance he signs with the team that beat him and took away his dream. he's not hossa. he's north american. |

yes you won. good for your team. only the 2nd ever in the PST to do it.
let's be honest. obviously you'd want parise. I can see you saying you don't want radulov or semin (I won't judge) but zach would be the favorite player almost overnight. |
