It is going to be a RFA not a UFA. Who would trade anything for the rights to have negotiations for two weeks and then have the person say no and go out and take other offers sign and you loose what you traded. - Tsanuri
well erhoff's rights were traded twice last year (he was a UFA i believe) |

Loungo's value is going to be good but suitors are few!
NJ (marty*), NYI, TOR and possibly CBJ are the only possible destinations. I think NJ makes the most sense. The timing is great and Lou wouldn't mind going to the eastern champs. I don't see Vancouver trading him to CBJ or any team in the west
Toronto should do the deal if komisarek, Connolly, or Lombardi are coming of the books |

If it is Parise..........
If NJ knows that they are not going to resign him for whatever reason, they would trade him for somehting instead of lose him for nothing.
Similar to what NJ did to Kovi in ATL. ATL knew they werent signing him so they traded him for somthing. |

GM...Owner....Goalie (repeat that to yourself)
3 IMPORTANT things you need to have for a Championship.
LL done soon....1/2 an Owner who is in debt.....and last be not least Brodeur will not play for very much more.
3 things you need to win a championship - LA_Kings6720
Yeah man, you're really showing us. Having a quality team for 20 years and after making the cup finals after nobody thought we were going to make the playoffs, next year is the year we're going to be terrible.
Speaking of GM, Lombardi is known for getting a lot of big ticket free agents to LA, right? |

ok then gaborik is better. You took my comment aboiut lindback and Luongo right to the heart. if you're a GM do you want to trade a 1st round pick, good roster player and a good prospect for a 33 year old goalie with a 5 million dollar cap hit for a number of year? Or do you trade 2 rounders, a 3rd rounder ad an ahl back up for a a 24 year old, coming out of a system that has produced other starting goalies?
take off the kid gloves. - tomburton99
since when was that the asking price?........is that what vomit Bob "i wear sunglasses in the studio" Mccowan is spueing out east?
Im pretty sure just a good power forward or dman will do.

take our all star goalie with a resonable cap hit for some over payed junk that cant crack a 26th place roster.

He has gone AFTER big name FA but most of them are female doges and want to stay on East coast, you know cause of the bus traveling instead of plane rides
Chara, Briere, Hossa, Kovalchuck....Just to name a few |

So the players that don't sign with LA are female doges. It has nothing to do with LA, or Lombardi, or the Kings organization. Lombardi is targeting players that are "bitc hes"? |

he is the face of their franchise, its going to take a very good offer to get him out and i dont know if vanek could do enough to win the fans over unless they send over a top prospect or a high pick - dmarsden2988

Top prospect? Pick? Why? Nash wishes he was Vanek. |

Ok season ticket holder....I never said the Devils would be terrible
I said they wouldnt have the following. GM, Goalie, or Owner....1/2 an owner is kind of pathetic

i doubt devils will go after loungo and his contract, he is already what 33 and goes till he is 23813, as a goalie it is different then a skater like kovy, especially a butterfly goalie where its hard on the knees and brodeur at 40 may or may not return, and if he does it be 1 year contracts
and who/what would the devils give up |

I dont think that plays an effect at all. I think its more or less the Kings have never won a championship. I think after winning it now gives us a shot at singing people. Im not gonna sit here and say that we are gonna get Parise or Suter for that matter. Im just saying that if you look at who we lost out on. They went to teams that have won championships.
If anything the beach's, nice weather and etc would entice people to come here. But for a team who had never been able to finish the job is what i think deterred the players away. |
