Ryan Murray 6'0 199 pds

besides ppl trying to compare players to prospects
Why do the Islanders need another small defensemen?
Dont u think we have enough small players on D?

- Ur Not Me

have to take best available player ... and if Murray is still there he is the best available player IMO... they can always try and trade for another pick later in frist round and grab a big d-man.

Good morning fellow Wolfpack member. I want to say I am in a better mood after my rant of DP yesterday. I am back to normal.

DEFENSE this draft and for free agents that is all I want. WE get a couple of defense men in there we will be a ok, oh and a winger for TAvares, and a few vets, and steady goaltending, and a real coach. Oh forget it!!

If you can get a 23-24-25 year old d-man for your #4 pick who could be part of the team cornerstone on the blueline, make the deal. If Karlsson is made available, or perhaps if the Isles can swap with the Hawks and land Hjalmarsson, it would be difficult to say "no." Players like that would go a long way toward shoring up the blueline albeit in different ways. The former is an all around stud who has Norris written all over him. The later is a proven shut down guy who can help you win games.

Dealing the #4 would make a great deal of sense for the Isles — more this season then ever before.

But at the same time — if Ryan Murray is there at #4 — would you still take a trade or would you grab Murray and call it a day?

If the Sens trade Karllson they would burn the arena down.
