When's the last time anybody saw the guy? I make deliveries for a local business and I've been to his house twice to make a delivery. They don't even let you in the gate. You call up on the intercom and they send a house keeper down to the gate in a car to get the delivery. Meanwhile I've driven right up to both Dolans and Wilpon's houses. They guy's so secretive its almost creepy.

I dont care if the Isles sign a Thousand Players. It doesnt matter a bit to me. Just dont give me (not you) that yr to yr song and dance that we are doing everything possible to improve the on ice product and then continue to make sub-par minor moves like this.

Looks to me like the BS is starting early this season.


JJ showed a wee bit of potential 3 or 4 yrs ago. He never made a stride after that. I really dont see how anything could have changed playing in that no hit , no score, double toe tuck, triple lutz, European league.

But I guess we shall see.

But it doest change the fact that we're looking in this direction to improve the team while other teams are setting their sights much higher.
Are the Isles looking for JJ to be the answer for NOT SIGNING PAP? Or am I being overly critical.

i am not pro-Wang by any imagination...

but I have always been a supporter of the rebuild and the mechanics and tough work they had to do to get the prospect pool in order. I think fans impatience, though valid, way too soon. No rebuild turned around in 4 years. And be assured, this rebuild started at the draft of 2008, b/c i wrote about it.

I think another season or two needs to be allotted here. Team inability to get UFAs to push rebuild faster or have good talent inhouse to speed it up, sad to say.


So if I do not go along with the fan moan and groan it is because though they are customers and have every right to be impatient and complain, I do not feel it is completely valid on its own as criticism of Garth or hockey operations.

Garth has made a few mistakes... be assured. And for that I have made sure to cite it, but not anti or pro... just try to call it how I see it.

agreed...but thats the fact of the matter. id rather garth say "(frank) we messed this one up BIG TIME but id rather let him walk than handcuff my organization with a mid-level player who is "easily" replaceable (in the sense guys like pap come around all the time)"

whether it means a prospect or another FA signing, finding another moulson/grabner, trading for another forward, im not sure, but at this point im done with parenteau.

garth blew it with pap and in order to make up (and even move forward) its going to cost garth some assets but at this point im willing pay that price.
