Newsday reported that it's a one-way deal with an out clause, meaning that he will return to Europe rather than the AHL if he does not make the Islanders' roster.

I'm fine with the move. He's still a player we drafted and developed. Might as well take one last look now before parting ways for good.

I know..and he's right. Frans is a great player but he should not be relied upon for secondary scoring. He has offensive talent, but his bread and butter is being a great shutdown forward. He can still put up points on the third line, but not have the pressure to do so. We could end up with a really great line to play against opponents' top 3.

Not every player we sign is going to be an 80 pt scorer. He can be an effective 3rd line winger. No need for everyone to freak out when we make a depth move.

When's the last time anybody saw the guy? I make deliveries for a local business and I've been to his house twice to make a delivery. They don't even let you in the gate. You call up on the intercom and they send a house keeper down to the gate in a car to get the delivery. Meanwhile I've driven right up to both Dolans and Wilpon's houses. They guy's so secretive its almost creepy.

Its more just tongue and cheek but seriously enough with the garbage I mean depth signings and lets get some real talent

without him, tho, Garth would have had to pay another plug a la rolston or have kept hunter on the roster to make the floor. You see.....Ricky IS helping the team.
Maybe Shaky & Boggsy can get him to help load the gear in & out of the arena.
