I'd rather have Schenn and Dion for that package... - Flyfreaky
Not at their 10.1 M price tag.. that would F up Philly for the foreseeable future!!
on second thought.... YEA GO FOR IT!! |

To CGY - Jordan staal < --- Needs to sign an extension first
To PITT - Jerome Iginla. - SensHockey
That would actually make some sense for both clubs. |

If not for the salary cap, I'd agree.

seeing as how they are different positions it would mess up both of their depth charts..
Cammallari and Jokinen are both centers in Calgary already so where does that put Staal. Cam can play wing too but he is not nearly as effective.
And another winger to Pit would really mess their chart up too.. When they put Malkin and Crosby together that would put Kennedy as their 2nd line center.. also where do you play neal, Kunitz, Iginla in that cluster with Neal, Kunitz, Dupuis, Sullivan, and Cook all playing LW.

I know it is a minority opinion, but I watched a lot of j.bo in his first few years with the Panthers and he can play. For the remaining two years on his deal I think it is a good risk for the right team to take him. Detroit, Carolina, Washington and Ottawa are the first teams that come to mind as playing the style and having the complementary personnel that might prove very effective for both J.Bo and the team.
If he can regain his form, a Karlsson/J.Bo combination playing together and apart would make the Senators very strong on the back end. He is a beautiful skater, has a good shot, good competitor but not a leader. I don't think he fits into a Flyer environment where they want a guy to come in and be the horse along the lines of Pronger. |

Wiki said they were both born in 84. Nash dreamed playing with his childhood hero of nearly the same age? - wolfos412
If thats the only thing you found wrong with that comment I made then I am ok
Weber also does not have a NTC and I am pretty sure he wasn't a Jagr fan either. |

Why would the Sharks trade Pavelski for Nash?
Pavelski has outscored Nash in the last 2 seasons. He is a Top 5 faceoff center in the league year in and year out, and can also play the wing. He can play on the top PP unit and PK unit. Nash has played in 4 playoff games total, Pavs has played in over 60. He is more experienced and a proven playoff performer as well.
I would rather see Marleau go for Nash.

Pavelski is what 27 with a 4M price tag... marleau is 35 with a 6.9 price tag.
that is why it won't happen. |
