I'm not saying that we should believe everything we read, or even 2% of what we read.
But if someone wants to dismiss every single, unconfirmed rumor, they're free to lead their oblivious life.

It has nothing to do with dismissing every single unconfirmed rumor. It has to do with the standard in which I'm going to judge another human being, and how they react to a situation in their life. And how I'm willing to put myself in their situation and see how I might feel. None of us are perfect and have handled every situation life has presented us with, perfectly. Nor do we all handle every situation the same way. So, no, I'm not going to attack a players character, who I have never even met, based on rumor, speculation, innuendo, or whatever else you want to call it. That is part of my character.
And if you think rumors of player movement and potential signings of players or trades should be taken with the same standard as asessing a person's character, well then I don't know what to tell you.
