It's funny with the whole kadri thing, the year he was drafted tsn was doing their usual inside access thing and some of the banter was allowed to air. BB walked up to Brian Murray with Ottawa and asked him if he was going to take Kadri with their pick a few after the Leafs. Murray says ya, then BB goes and drafts him. THey aired the discussion from right on the floor. Always wondered if BB took Kadri cause there was a trade with the sens (as rare as that would be) but Murray backed out. Anyway, interesting. Kadri will be fine, just needs to play. To me he has the personality that you give him playing time, eventually he'll getter going. |

i think he should get a shot at a full time spot with the leafs, give the kid a chance, and who knows maybe carlyle can make his defensive game that much better.. you never know what u have with the kids unless u give them a chance |

yup, being that last year was wasted they should have played the kids more, and no not carter ashton but other guys. They can't have him play 6-10 games and see he only has 3 or 4 points and send him down, they have to let it play through. Especially considering the fact that they gave other non producing players lots of ice, i can see why kadri would wonder whats up.
Side note, trading away Aulie was a monster boner. BB is good at trades abut that one will definately come back to haunt. Aulie was a force for the admirals and the leafs could use his big frame and physicality. Just another casualty of the - ron wilson doesn't like him so send him down or trade him - scenario. |

If Ashton turns out to be a regular NHLer (2nd/3rd tweener kind of guy) who can be counted on for 35-55 pts a season, I'm glad we made the move. If he struggles to break into our top 9 on a regular basis (i.e. Crabb, Brent, Boyce), we got screwed because Aulie will be an NHLer, I have no doubt: top 4, possibly, if he improves his footspeed, but likely 5/6 guy with PK minutes. |

you think the market would have a random person selling some!? Was thinking of walking over during my lunch....or try that Running Room place...but yea, its pretty sad.
Youd think anyone with a business DT would stock up on jerseys with the way theyre selling! |

There is credence. HE also didn't like franson so he sat for most of the first half, carlyle had him playing more. It's not wilsons fault, i personally think he had sway though when you consider the moves. In the end it's still thegms moves though |

IMO ashton doesn't look like the real deal, even in the minors he's blah. I'll eat crow gladly if i'm wrong. |
