Has Parenteau done that? Even with Tavares on his line? Nope.

Kulemin might not be a 30 goal scorer every year, hell, he might never do it again but at Kulemin's age, Parenteau was an AHLer for life. To sign him and trade Kulemin is insane.

- Unholy_Goalie

Paraenteau will be a Hab, so there is no reason to even worry about this guy. Now Kulemin would be a nice piece to move, in an attempt to grab another 1st rounder. I'm all in for that idea.

What's wrong with Murray?
- Unholy_Forward

Nothing, either would be a good pick, but Murray will likely be gone at 2nd.

Purely from a marketing point of view, I don't see Columbus drafting anyone with an even vaguely european name

UG thought someone said Franson is worth the 2nd over-all pick.

And now he keeps going on and on about it. Even though no one said it lol

- jbold

U_G going on and on about something and not caring about anyone else's OPINION??? Surely you jest!

I hope so, then the Habs have a decision to make. That could be good for us.

Doesn't make sense. He's still young, still cheap and is a useful player. MacArthur, yes, trade him if you can but not Kulemin.

I'd rather trade MacA and Lombo/Conn for a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Except that Galchenyuk is American. His name is irrelevant.

Ask jbold to explain it for you. It was his idea.
- Unholy_Goalie

Nope. It wasn't. You thought it was. But you've been wrong ever since.

Which is hilarious.

That is what I think, if the picks stay with their present teams I think it will be

Yakuopov
Murray
Galchenyuk
Dumba
Grigorenko

Grigorenko will not be a Leaf, at 5. They'll either trade up or down, if that happens. If the Leafs do take a shot at sending Gardiner to the Oilers for 1st overall, then they're in a position to grab a defenceman. That 1st will either be moved to the second hole, in a trade, or used to get Galchenyuk. Saving that, it's not going to be Grigorenko.

I wouldn't mind that at all.

If the draft followed some of the projections it would be sweet if the leafs swapped with washington for both their firsts and Took Gaunce and Faksa

I'm all for taking the best forward available at 5th, Galchenyuk, Grigorenko, Forsberg, Faska. In that order.

I'm only down if Galy or Grigs is on the board After that I'd try something else. I'm not a big fan of Forsberg I would be in for Faksa though

Edmonton - Yakupov
Columbus - Galchenyuk
Montreal - Grigorenko
New York - Murray
Minnesota - Forsberg
Anaheim - Dumba
Toronto - Faksa (plus 46th and 68th)

Use 35th or 46th and 68th to move up to the mid 20s. Pick Gaunce or Laughton.
