About Brisebois : when does the booing started on him and on what factor ? I'm seriously curious. When I started watching hockey in earnest he was already gone to Colorado. Beacause when I look at his stats, as stated by RDS : "Brisebois a disputé 1 009 matchs, amassant 420 points, dont 98 buts.", that's not too bad for a defenceman.
When he came back he looked like an standard veteran-on-the-decline-that-can-still-play-well-on-the-third-pair.
I heard he was overpaid in his first stint, but still that's a decent production in proportion to the hate he got. |

People should lay off Brisebois...
Honnestly most are just being jerks, has the guy impregnated your wives or something?
I think he knows a bit more about hockey and the pressure of playing in Montreal than most. And it took a lot of courage to come back in MTL for a second stint.

I'd say playing over a thousand games in the NHL is a good start. |

So he was kind of a Marc-André Bergeron ? If he was really bad defensively I can understand. Still his lifetime NHL +/- is 1, that's certainly not great but not that bad either. But like I said I was not watching hockey at the time so I dont have the big picture. |

Wasn't that Malakhov?
Brisebois went to France on holiday during a "stress leave"...or something like that.

Not enough depth on D to move him IMO, maybe in the spring once habs are out or next summer - Symba007
We have a very short window to trade him in before his knee explodes |
