One thing for sure, as much as I'm socialist left artsy pinko as I can be, I don't give a (frank) if the Liberals are in charge, as long as 1) (frank)ing Charest is not their boss and 2) government people who are guilty of corruption are kicked away with consequences.
- oniremosewa

Agreed. Can't stand Charest.

The only way this is ever going to get better is if the whole entire political, and economic systems get overhauls, thing is this will never, ever happen. Why, one because it will take to (frank)ing long to enforce, and imply, and 2nd is for the main reason, good old hard cash, cant change a system that allows politicians, bankers and big business to filter more public money into their own (frank)ing pockets, that would be anti-democratic and against everything we supposedly stand for. The hypocrisy of our democracy, ra ra ra, patriotism, end rant...

there's not too many systems as far as government goes.

I'm of the belief that government should be as small as possible and be involved in as little as possible. it's the only real way to minimize government corruption.

?? there's capitalism, socialism (real socialism) and communism.

of the three, what would you prefer?

- DoubleDown

Intragenerationnal capitalism is the way to go, imo.

Would requires a well organized plan, and a mass reduction of Earth's population.

Plan the new generations, every birth should be within a month. When the kids reach, oh, 20 or 25 years old, they are sent to a different place where there are only people their age, with a database of previous human knowledge. You get the main idea.

how about we remove all vanities and luxury involved with taking office and then only those who truly wish to serve will shine through.

Make a 4th, for the people, like democracy was supposed to be. If the system is corrupt change it and hold them accountable just as the every day person is. Thing is the world's elite and wealthy get in any poop, they are exempt from pretty much everything. Normal guy gets caught stealing a few million, he gets sing sing and roommate named bubba who is sweet on him. The wealthy steal a few billion dollars and they get a country club with 3 star restaurants and tennis courts, golf courses, and a bit of wine with their quiche, and if they manage to do it at the right time, Martha Stewart just might be there in person to make them some of her famous sweet rolls for desert. However, if you would like to stop this for good, let the Conrad Black's of the world do their full terms bending over for Bubba , you can best bet all the rest will reconsider trying that poop ever again knowing they have to face hard time and not a country club....
