Kyoto is a mess. Fair enough if it applies to all countries but you can't impose environmental restrictions (and by the same suit economic ones) one certain countries and not on others and expect them to endorse it.

I agree, especially when the countries who are producing the most emissions told them to go (frank) themselves from the get go, pretty hard to hold the others accountable isn't it? It is a great idea in principle, but seems to get very lost in the application and keeping countries on goal and on target with the requirements will damn near impossible without everyone's cooperation.

Those who came up with it had hoped that the people and the media to a certain degree would keep the governments on task with it. While government and big business had other ideas, and looked at the cost, and said " Yeah, (frank) that".
