Having him on the team was too high in my opinion.

It's true, the players that needed to most coaching while playing usually turn around and make it work behind the bench. I only worry because none of the coaching ever seemed to get through to Briseboise

Just because he didn't have to the ability to execute doesn't mean the idea didn't get through.

Look at the rest of the D lineup when Brisebois was playing the first time around, he was the best they had.

It's just blind and obstinate hate. He was bad on a first pair because he didn't belong there, but would have been a serviceable #4.

I kinda liked him in his last year in Montreal.

None of this has anything to do with his potential as a coach.

It's certainly not blind, it's based on watching him play.

I'm talking about Patrice Breezeby, the man who's skating was rivalled by pre-teens, and who's shot dropped about a foot before it got to the net.

What a crock of sh!t! Like speaking French is going to improve their team in some ways. All it's going to accomplish, is inferiority. Why not get the best coach, GM or players, from any country, then limit your choices to Francophone's? Next year and for many years after, this will be the the catch phrase: With the number 1 selection in the draft, the Montreal Canadiens pick, from the Quebec Major Junior League.........

Oh, by the way, The Vermont Catamountes are about to kick off their season.........so let's get out and support them..........

I agree on that point. It's just hard not to worry we'll be flooded with little Brisebois prodigies.

We had that last year without Brisebois in the fold.

There was Gorges and 5 other guys who played Brisebois style hockey.

He's doing a good job with the P.E.I. Rockets and was assistant coach at the last Under-18 world championship.

Watching him play, I would have thought he'd become more of a Derek Boogard than a Patrick Roy.

Without looking, I'd say his stats last year were pretty close to those of Brisebois at the same age
