Brisebois had a love-hate relationship with the fans during his playing career and Bergevin said that was a factor in the decision to hire him.

“It was huge because I never experienced that and when he talked to me about that, it added to my understanding,” Bergevin said.



I actually think Briesbois could make a very good coach.

Based on playing 1000 NHL games and the way he dealt with the fans and the media under adversity. Even though he sucked he was a stand up guy and he never struck me as an idiot.

No question that he has experience playing in this city, and in the NHL (over 1000 games). My concern is his ability to teach.

I heard Lapointe saying that he will be meeting with all the prospects this week, and that they will all leave with his phone number.
