It's ridiculous how anglo-quebecers always make it about language.

Well, I heard far more whining about yesterday's hirings than about Dudley and Mellanby's ones.
- _nay_

That's because one of the hires was Patrice Brisebois.

I could easily see the Sens miss the playoffs.
- habby

Same. Their vets had a renaissance season but they will be in the hunt. Can see them adding another center via UFA. Jokinen or something.

I can't see a hire Bergevin has made worth complaining about.
- habby

Me neither. He surrounded himself with dividus he trusts will bring success to the organization. Now he/they must deliver.

In the Habs's case, the management has been poisoned for years with egomaniac problems all departments. Even the vice-presidents were never talking to each other. Like that time the new marketing campaign was producing Maxim Lapierre billboards all over the city without knowing he wasn't making the team.

Bergevin can hire all the people he feels comfortable with.

Everyone forgot the two first guys he hired are anglophones.

It's funny, because it has always been like this...of course, you can't ask people who started being fans in 2008 to remember the past.

marty: front passenger

conversation between dt and mrs. dt (actual):

dt: which one of your tires did you say is flat?

mrs. dt: oh what do you mean?

dt: you said one of your tires looks flat which one is it?

mrs. dt: oh... well if you're standing in front of the house and you're looking at the car it would be on your left.

dt: am I looking toward the house or away from the house?

mrs. dt: you're standing with your back to the garage door and you're looking toward the mailbox.

dt: front or back?

mrs. dt: no in front of the house

dt: front or back tire?

mrs. dt: *does motion with her hands as if she were driving the car* front!
